the human running the site has some amazing stuff posted and... i keep a close eye on the rss feed of recipe posts

we have pulled at least half a dozen recipes for regular rotation from this site ; and they are /easy/ to cook too! good entry point for veterans and those who have not cooked much/at all

@kemonine ooh nice!

...what if you don't have access to cooking equipment? Like, there technically IS a stove here, but we don't feel safe in the kitchen so effectively we don't have one.

@IceWolf i usually find a metal pot / grate and set a fire. cast iron should not be underestimaged when combined with fire. ive had some amazing camp meals that are better than any chef ever prepared for me in a 'real kitchen'

that said ; instapot and air friers are good options for cooking with out a stove

ive also used counter top 'toaster overns' for cooking things in a pinch

you can cook noodles in a microwave if youre creative abou tit and willing to risk it

cured meats and cheeses and similar can be done up well as cold food but nutritious

salad / sandwhich you can live on and are far more dynamic than folk realize ; esp when combined with smoked/cured meats that dont need 'heat' to cook

etc

@IceWolf blenders are also solid if youre into shakes/smoothies ; you can live off them

🤔

i probably have more somewhere in the memory thats eluding me at present

(i have jaw issues so straws are in my future)
